nightmare (2/15 any))
Screaming herself to wakefulness in her bed. Her hands going to her face to wipe away the blood that's not there. The shadow of the dream still hanging in the back of her head she cries, trying to hold onto her dying father.
Throwing off the cover she quickly realizes that she is back in her cabin.
The image of the killer's face firmly fixed in her mind now, she Knows who to look for. But she's unsure where to begin. Maybe one of the seers can help her.
Getting up and getting dressed she makes sure there is no evidence of tears. She heads out the door in search of a beginning.

Cameron will see Shawn sitting at the fireside. He looks to her when she emerges from her cabin. "Hi, how you doing, Cameron?"
-
Smiling to Shawn "Morning. I am very well today thank you. I am looking towards new beginnings. How are you today?"
She moves to sit by him to visit.

"Yes. Each morning is a new beginning. The world comes to life and everyone goes about their day as if it were as any other. Most don't realize how precious each day really is. They put off telling their loved ones that they love them, telling themselves there will be time tomorrow. But, for some, tomorrow doesn't come. We should try to live each day well. As if it is our last, for it just might be. Especially for those in our line of work."
Shawn pauses, contemplating.
"Of course, there are those deinzens of the night for whom day and night is reversed...but the same holds true there. Just with their night being like our day."
-
She nods. "Yes tomorrow never came for my parents. I wish I had told them. I did not. I was selfish and now they are gone. I can not tell them I love them but I can find who is responsible. I do that and it might help."
Smiling. "yes we must live each day to the fullest. How did you get so smart for being so young?

Shawn shrugs and appears to be a little embarassed.
"Sorry to hear about your parents, but revenge is rarely as sweet as you hope it to be. If you make it your life's work, once it is done, you have nothing to look forward to. Nothing to reach for. You're lost. Adrift without a sail or paddles. If you exact revenge upon those who wronged you, you truly become no better than they. In the end, they will be judged and get what they truly deserve. Moreso than anything you could do to them. If you stoop to their level, when it is your turn to be judged, you could suffer the same fate."
