Thread: Howl of Victory 2/20/10 - Late Evening (atn: All)

Shadow limps up beside his Alpha. He stands with his head held high, looking at Grandfather Storm. His howl starts immediately after hers and lets off first of any others.

Cameron comes up and stands by Shadow and Tala looking up she howls and stops shortly after Shadow

Samara walks up after her packmates, howling along with them. There is a hint of happiness on her face, for the first time she is smiling.

Sebastian trots slowly towards the sound, meeting his alphas howl with one of his own. The sound echoing from his monstrous lungs. He enters the clearing, his head help proud, showing off the Fresh scar around his neck from his fight with the Fenris spirit. He wore it like a badge of honor. It had marked him, and his own fangs had tasted him, he knew the ancestors were proud. He took a seat on his haunches near Tala, raising his eyes to the sky and sniffing in the air. It smelled like glory to him, and it smelled good....

As the pack's howl ends, Tala turns and looks to Shadow. "We should introduce Ancestor's Howl to the rest of the pack. Do you think your mate could locate him?"

Turning to Cameron. "I'm glad you're here Cameron. I want you to meet two new members to the Dark Riders pack. This is Sebastian, called Northern Agression among the Get of Fenris and this is Samara of the Silent Striders. Hmmm that reminds me." Reaching into her pocket (not the one with dead mice, for those keeping track), she pulls out a small silver owl necklace.

"I didn't get to give you this yet but, I'd be honored if you'd accept a place in the Dark Riders... on a more permanant basis." She undoes the hook in the back of the necklace and holds it out for her to step into. "We could use the strength of another Arhoun in days to come."

(( Jim, you can say that Shadow sends his "woman" to find Ancestor's Howl so you don't have to leave the scene. If Luke has time I'm sure he'll join us. ))

Shadow turns to his mate, yipping at her. She runs off into the woods.

Shadow then shifts back to human, leaning on his staff and watching his new pack mates and others around the camp.

Stepping towards Tala "Thank You. I am honored to be a member".
Smiling at Samara "Hello again. I am glad our quest the other night did you no harm."
She nods to Sebastian. "Hello. Nice to meet you."

Sebastian eyes her for a moment, obviously sizing her up. He sniffs her direction before letting out a snort, followed by an accepting nod. He licks his lips once, an almost pleased smile crossing his lips, his fangs jutting out of his mouth. "You honor us....If Tala feels you worthy then I will not question your presence until you give me a reason too..."

She smiles at Cameron

"The quest the other night was interesting to say the least, but I'm not hurt. You were the one hit with the bullet..."

She looks at the pack.

"I am honored to be in a pack with you."
