Thread: A decision (Attn: JD /STs)

Minutes later, JD enters and smiles to Logan as he walks over to him. "By the look on your face, the answer was no." JD chuckles and draws up a stool and sits. "Don't worry about it, I can find you if I need to, brother- I'll just have to take the hard way in." His voice is light, he's obviously not upset.

Logan smiles and nods, an obvious weight lifted from him. He takes out a piece of paper and hands it to JD.

"Tino's private jet. Double check with him before using it. It should give you the privacy you need. Anything you need, you tell me, kay?"


"And don't worry about finding the girl on your own. We'll have either succeeded, or failed horribly long before you get there."

JD raises an eyebrow before taking the slip. "I thought we were all traveling down there together, the rest of those going anyway... does the plane come with a pilot?" JD chuckles, obviously amused, clearly a bit confused.

Logan smirks and nods. "Yeah, it'd be a short trip otherwise, right?"

Knowing that he was avoiding the question, he shakes his head.

"No, not all together, as much as I wish it weren't so." Logan looks to JD

"You know I'd give just about anything to be at her side... " he looks down at his beer and shrugs. "But the plan is set, and there's no sense in moping about it now."

He looks to JD again and raises his beer. "Here's to you, brother, to all of us. The desert has to end sometime."

JD thumps his mug on the bar, muttering something under his breath in a foreign tongue then bumps it against his, "Here's to keeping your word, to your honor." JD looks proud of Logan and takes a sip. "I'll have an eye on you." He shrugs and sets his glass back down. "Primary objective- everyone comes back." He looks thoughtful, like he's gathering his thoughts or considering saying something.
