Pius enters the church, walking over to the holy water and dipping his hand into it and then corssing himself. He walks over to the spot by one of the large pillars that he likes to sit at. Moving into the row, just sitting at the end he removes his rosary and bible just before he kneels.
Looking to Jesus on the cross, "If someone was to ask you, Christ, what does Faith mean. I wonder what you would say?" Pius looks with a puzzled look on his face, "Would you say that, Faith is an act of trust or reliance. Rather than being passive, faith leads to an active life of obedience to the one being trusted. It sees the mystery of God and his grace and seeks to know and become obedient to God?"
Shaking his head, "Or maybe you would say, Before anyone has faith, he must understand in whom and in what he has faith. Without understanding, there cannot be true faith and that understanding is built on the foundation of the community of believers, the scriptures and traditions and on the personal experiences of the believer."
He bows his head in prayer, "Senior , in Olympus , EGO tantum peto ut servo vos. Illa es atrum vicis quod EGO sum questio pro Lux lucis. Plures es lost hic tamen they es non lost pro bonus. Dico lemma tergum in vestri grex , EGO mos tutela lemma ex wolves."
Raising his head to look at Chirst again," Is Divine Judgement coming like the times before? Such great catastrophes, Genesis 6:5 tell us of Noah's flood, the destruction of Sodom and Gomorrah in Genesis 28:20, the earthquake that swallowed up Korah and his followers Numbers 16:30, the plagues of Egypt Exodus 6:6 and the evil that came upon other oppressors of Israel spoken in Ezekiel 25:11. Who will write about this?"

Reason: forgot something
Corin sits in the back of the church, she has a bible in her lap, open to Leviticus. She notices Pius and tilts her head a little. She watches him for a while, then lowers her head, so not to intrude.
he smiles, "I think when we push him away is when he cares the most for us, Corin. No matter what you say or do, there is always room to be forgiven. Jesus was not sent to this his earth to judge us, he was sent to save us from our sins. Your faith is what calls to him and when you are in doubt that is when the Lord's love and light seeks you out."
he sits back and opens his bible."Your Faith does not come without understanding, Without understanding, there cannot be true faith and that understanding is built on the foundation of the community. In order for faith to truly thrive, conviction must be accompanied by an action. It is believed that such action is consistent with speaking. Just as Genesis 1:26 tells of God creating mankind in his image and likeness, granting man the ability to be like him; it is believed that one of the powers afforded man is the very same power seen in the beginning of Genesis, where God created the Heavens and Earth by speaking them into existence."
A concerned look comes to his face, "I studied to be a man of the cloth, Until the Lord moved me to another path that I was better suited for. If you should ever wish to release your troubles, I would listen to what you have to say."
He looks up to the sky, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. We find no conditions placed on God's love for us. God doesn't say, "as soon as you clean up your act, I'll love you; " nor does He say, "I'll sacrifice my Son if you promise to love Me."
No matter God will always love you, but in order to feel that love you must love yourself."
He smiles, You see, God is Love, and His love is very different from human love. God's love is unconditional, and it's not based on feelings or emotions. He doesn't love us because we're lovable or because we make Him feel good; He loves us because He is love. He created us to have a loving relationship with Him, and He sacrificed His own Son ,who also willingly died for us, to restore that relationship.
He shakes his head, "No I don't believe such. It is true that we can choose to do good or evil deeds. God gave us free will and with that comes decision making. Can't the same be said for us? I don't think that God hates us for a few reason, some of us where created unwillingly. In a way we are like the lepers of society and last and most important we were God's creations first."
He looks to see if his words are helping her.
"Before Jesus came, no one would go near the lepers. They were on the fringes of society, contagious and scary. We have the same reputation. Jesus can find something to love in the lepers then we could find something to love in us as well."
Place his hand and hers
"Lastly, we're taught that no matter what sins we commit or wrong we do, God still loves us. He may be displeased with us, but he does not hate us for our wrong doing. We were human first. God made everyone in His image first. Before things chnaged, we were His children. So if you were taught that God loves all of his children wouldn't that include us?"
"Perhaps this conversation would best be taken to a location where we don't have to worry about others overhearing."
She looks up the figure of Christ.
"I know he loves his children, but because of the things I have done in my past, and because of the things that have been done to me, I wonder if there is room for forgiveness."
