Thread: Confessional is Open: (Attn: Sophia, Cicero, and Any)

Sophia looks down at the invitation and reads it silently. She listens to what he has to say on the matter and nods. "We shall attend. She was kind to me the evening we met and I would therefore like to show my kindness as well."

Upon hearing that he is going to go to confessional she nods again. "I'm headed to the sanctuary as well to do my evening prayers. I will walk with you." As soon as they arrive she mimics his rituals before taking a pew towards the front of the church, kneeling and beginning to pray.

He smiled softly at the back to Sophia's head. To think that if they had not been turned that she would have been a princess. That perhaps he would have never become a crusader and they might never has met. He spoke gently in his native tongue to her.

She had been in the Cathedral a few night before, and had spoken to Sister Sophia, but tonight there was something weighing heavily on her mind. She walks into the Cathedral, kneels, makes the sigh of a cross, then stands again, and walks over towards the confessional booth. She opens the door to the confessional and steps inside. Once again she makes the sign of a cross...

"Bless me father for I have sinned."

After a couple of minutes Sophia finishes her prayers. She then genuflects, stands and walks over to where he is sitting.

Viktor opened his mouth to answer Sophia and cocked his head at an ackward angle when he heard Angelique start confession without him. He rolled his eyes before smiling at Sophia. "To be continued..." He moved over to the confessional and took his place in the middle. Shutting the door. He slid the divider open for Angelique. "Blessed you are my child and how long has it been since your last confession?"He began hurriedly putting on his vestments and grabbed his bible. His rosary around his neck as he waited to hear her response.

She lowers her head, and keeps her hand on the cross she wears around her neck.

"It has been years since my last confession. To be honest, I really can't remember it at all."

She keeps her head lowered, as she lets go of the cross around her neck.

"I'm not even really sure as to why I am here."

Viktor listened intently and spoke softly though his accent was still thick.

"We are all lost my child. We must all trust that he will show us the way we should go." He paused a moment and continued. "I am patient as the father our god is patient. Begin confessing when you are ready."

Viktor rolled the rosary in his hand as he lifted his eyes to the door of the confessional. Betraying his duties as his thoughts moved the conversation he had been having with Sophia.

Sophia smiles softly and nods as Viktor goes about his duties. Looking back towards the altar she holds her rosary between her fingers as she begins to silently pray once more.

"I am currently involved with two men, and I have feelings for both of them. One is from my past, the other is someone I've only recently met. My 'business' does not allow for me to fall in love, I have to keep myself available for my clients..."

She looks up for the first time since Viktor entered the confessional.
