Thread: Gathering of 6-12-2010

The gathering this evening will be one spoken about by all in the coming nights. The Prince called Court at Bacchus and there was little to report. There were no new members to present and no new news to be shared. The Prince even made a joke, stating that we didn’t all need to be somber all the time. I would be surprised if anyone present this evening was able to rally any mirth at the end of the night.

A group of patients from the insane asylum got out and were causing a ruckus in the streets. Many members of our city went to deal with the issue while others stayed at Bacchus with the Prince. The Prince held an intense conversation with a certain Kindred for those paying attention. The Chief Harpy was called forward and after a brief conversation with the Prince, left to bring back Kendov.

Kendov cast runes for the Prince and the Prince issued a command. The Kindred known as Malcolm was believed to be in the City and all the Kindred were to search for and destroy him. The rite of lexitalonis was granted. The Scourge was given the directive to notify the Kindred of this order.

At the end of the night, our Prince asked for a report of events. One by one, those who assisted with rounding up the patients stepped forward to give their reports. It was discovered that our Feared Sheriff, Eric Brumman along with Lydia Bates and Jack Bragger were the ones to find Malcolm. Lydia was incapacitated by Malcolm’s abilities and taken to a safe location by another Kindred.

Jack returned to the fray, but he was too late. Kendov ingested a portion of Malcolm’s blood and was taken over by Malcolm. Kendo staked himself for the safety of the City and was found by other Kindred. He was uncertain whether Malcolm still resided inside him and presented himself to the Prince, requesting to be staked until Malcolm could be killed. The Prince requested to speak with him at a later point in the evening to discuss. At the end of the night and after the meeting with the Prince, Kendov left the gathering of his own volition.

Malcolm was followed out of the City by Roland, but just disappeared in the direction of Pittsburg. Let it be known far and wide to all the domains, that Malcolm of the family of the moon is a danger not only to any City he enters, but to all Kindred.

Information of Note:
Lydia Bates’ assistance with the patients and Malcolm spared her final death this evening, but she was required to present herself to Archon Walker for additional education.

Most evenings are passed with feedings in the City with little to no incidents occurring. Please note, that as a part of the First Tradition, it is imperative that you never let down your guard.
