September started with what was suppose to be a friendly poker game hosted by Clan Giovanni. This quickly was viewed as not the case by the arrival of Prince Cross's wife, Colette. Colette was trying to track down her husband, to whom the rest of the city knew had become involved with the Gangrel Alyana. Despite the obvious powder keg building the night went on with little drama until another murder happened in the city. The dispersing kindred went to look into the matters. The arrival of prince Cross, shortly after the disappearance of Colette was short lived, as Dominic revealed the arrival of his wife, sending the prince into a panic.
Word spread through the city of the pending showdown which finally happened in Indigo. The event kicked off with Colette walking into the VIP room on the arm of Constantino Giovanni, much to the dismay of Christian. The 2 began a heated argument which led to Colette leaving drenched in crimson tears. When then confronted by the harpy with allegations of boon breaking, Christian did not feel he needed to deal with the situation. In return the harpy stripped Christian of all but his prince status. Upon hearing this, the primogen council organized, quickly calling for a vote of no confidence and removing Cross as prince, replacing him with Calhoun.
Later in the month, Calhoun made plans to call his first court. The night would not be so simple, as rumors of a man setting a mortal on fire right outside of Indigo spread like wild fire through kindred society. Kindred hunting parties were organized, which seemed to be trumped by rumors of a pending Sabbat attack. Kindred ran panicked through the city trying to organize to stop all threats. The pyro finally being caught by a joint effort of many kindred, and questioned before disappearing into the grasp of the court. The Sabbat attack was met head on and the attackers were defended by brave Camarilla members not afraid to get their hands dirty.
Court was finally called prince Calhoun made his opinions known on several subjects, acknowledging new kindred and making the terms of his rule very noted, recognizing his court, and making sure everyone was on the same page.
