Thread: Tea Parties and the gathering of August 14, 2010

((OOC: Darlene has been really busy and had not had the time to post a report in between games like I wanted to. I apologize that I didn’t get one up as I try to get one posted approximately every two weeks. Thanks for your understanding! ))

Tea Party Events

The Chief Harpy Mackenzie Amsel and Assistant Harpy Izabella Black hosted two tea party events to help the new Kindred in the City. The first focused on the Traditions and what they mean and the second on the positions of the City and who held them. For those that attended, there was a lot of information shared and even those not new to the City were able to come away with a better understanding of how the City works. There will be more Harpy Tea Parties planned to discuss other social and politics things in the City. Please watch for such postings as all are welcome to attend.

Gathering of August

There is a new arrival to the City: The Lady Victoria Wentworth, elder of the Ventrue clan, former Justicar, and childer of Hardestat, graced us with her presence last night. She came bearing news that Kansas City has fallen to the Sabbat and Tulsa is not doing well. Revered Kendov Amsel of the Gangrel clan entertained Lady Wentworth with his pianist skills. The Lady Wentworth is taking up residency in the City for a time and she should be treated with the respect due to one of her station. Her first night in the City was far from uneventful as an Assamite attacked her in Bacchaus. There was a fire that broke out in the Pit which appeared to be a distraction to lure away individuals so that the assassin could sneak in easier to attack Lady Wentworth. The assassin that attacked the Lady Wentworth was linked to a specialty group of Assamites who have links to the Giovanni and Setite clans. Although no accusations have been made, it would be prudent of those clans to investigate further into the matter. There was also an attack on several new members of our City by two members of the Sabbat who claimed to want retribution for deaths of theirs in Pittsburg.

As if this was not enough excitement for the evening, there was an altercation between the Revered Eamon O’Briain and several members of the Brujah clan. The altercation ended with several torpored Brujah bodies in front of the Prince. Unfortunately the only knowledge of the lead up to events at this time is as follows: Mr. O’Briain and Sean of the Brujah clan were having a discussion at a location and five other Brujah decided to ram Mr. O’Briain vehicle with their own. There was a verbal altercation that escalated into a physical altercation. The torpored bodies were to be properly cared for and returned to the Brujah primogen to be dealt with. The Lady Wentworth and Mr. O’Briain have no doubt that an amicable agreement can be reached with Ms. Dragomir to address the concerns between the clans as to not cause any further strain.

Changes in Station/Status

Domino and Corin are no longer Assistant Keepers of Elysium and are now Deputies under our Feared Sheriff.

Marcus and Nova were presented as new members of the Nosferatu clan for toleration. As these were two of the members of the City attacked by the Sabbat, the Prince has granted them *Acknowledgement* in the City.

Amy of the Gangrel clan was also one of those attacked by the Sabbat and was granted *Acknowledgement*.

Marcus, Nova, and Amy were also said to be *Effective* as they handled the situation without any breeches to the Masquerade.

Otto of clan Nosferatu is seen as *Resourceful*.

Robert Hugh of clan Tremere was presented for *Toleration*.

Marzanna Dragomir has taken up the *Revered* primogen station for the Brujah clan and was also found to be *Loyal*

Jack Braeger was found to be *Loyal*.

Sabbath of clan Nosferatu was found to be *Gracious*.

The Toreador clan should be *Ashamed* that a Gangrel had to entertain the Lady Wentworth.

Once again, our Keeper of Elysium is out of Assistants. Please contact Pius if you are interested in serving the City in this manner.

Please let me make it abundantly clear to all the members of the City: THERE ARE NO ANARCHS IN PRINCE CAHILL’S DOMAIN. Since I have found that the pretty, bold letters tend to hold in the minds of the City, I will continue to use them as deemed appropriate.

Although the Lady Wentworth appeared harsh in her feelings towards the Toreador clan’s lack of entertainment, she is eager to see the performances that the Toreador in the City are capable of.

It is clear that having such a prestigious member residing in our City will come with its share of risks and benefits.

On the 5th of September, Lady Maddalena Cahill, hosted a wonderful evening on the third floor of the Bacchus.

It was a very peaceful evening for the most part. There was an issue with the Toreador named Diam. Do to the fact that his appearance is that of a 12 year old child, his eyes are that of a snakes and there is this cold breeze that follows him around. This matter was addressed by Prince Cahill, he stated "You are to speak to Calhoun and learn Obfuscate." then Mr. Diam had been given an earful by Lady Cahill. Then Daim was escorted out by Pius and Raimond Emerson and taken to Lady Montreve and Mr. Winters.

It is my understand, that by the words of Lady Montreve, that Mr. Diam was to owe Pius and Mr. Emerson both a minor boon. To my knowledge that boon has not been given to either Lady Mackenize or myself. Maybe the Child should attend the Tea Parties that Mackenize and I have been hosting? Maybe he would then learn some etiquette on these matters.

The Gathering of on the 11th of September
On this wonderful evening, Mr. and Mrs. Cahill, welcomed guests for their reception. Many kindred attended, some brought outstanding gifts, other brought a DUSKY FOLDER? Really? The First family of Lamar truly should have gotten something better then that, Please.

There was a scavenger hunt that everyone seem to have with.

Then the fun was broken up, by a Nosferatu from outside the city. He got on a bus in Lamar Heights and started shooting and killed people. Then if that was not enough, He showed up at the gathering and blew himself up. This was followed by A group of Sabbat picking a fight with a number of Kindred in the city at the Football field.

If I have left anything out, I am sure that Lady Mackenize will have more. I just wanted to get some infromation out.
