Thread: October 2009, part II

And, as promised, another Harpy report makes its way to the great and powerful citizens of Lamar! Obviously, Saturday nights events are already destined to be forever etched in the minds of those that were there. For the rest of us, we live vicariously through your stories. I shall do my best to relate them here.

First and foremost, a rather unique individual reported to the Atrium. An unnamed Sabbat packleader, possibly Tzimisce in clan, made a peculiar accusation and demand. He claims one of our very own Camarilla Elders came to him with information about a potential demon in the the area. Well, we know what to do with that particular bit of information, don’t we? Also, he offered to take off our hands a very large portion of the city for his assistance. Okay. Don’t call us, we’ll call you! It did seem that Prince Calhoun and this Sabbat thing knew each other, but not on a friendly level by any means. Emma Fitzpatrick reported that the Sabbat pack left the city quietly later in the evening.

Contratulations go out to Lazarus for his elevation to Keeper of Elysium. Additionally, we were introduced to a new Ventrue by the name of Lord Evan Storm. I spoke with him briefly last night, and he has already put into motion long-term plans for the city. Keep an eye out on these up-and-coming Ventrue!

Prince Calhoun welcomed new arrivals Saturday night. Previously mentioned Lord Evan Storm, the mysterious Miranda Montreve (a lovely Toreador), and the Malkavian known as Gregory. They thanked the Prince for his hospitality by pledging a trivial boon to him. Such noble vampires will surely play a large role in our fabled city for many years to come.

Continuing the reporting of boons, for attacking JT Mogul, I have decreed that Kharma will owe him a minor boon. Though we understand that she was not in her right mind at the time, one must always be mindful of their beast. It’s curious to note that she claims JT owes her for cleaning his home. I’ve always been told not to swing at the easy ones. It’s been rumored that Emma Fitzpatrick owes Seneschal Maddalena a boon for a social transgression; I leave it in their most capable hands to determine the severity of said boon.

As announced last night, I have appointed Lydia of the Malkavians as my assistant. If not for her report, this report would be quite boring!

The following are merely whispers among the rumormill:
-The Giovanni were notably absent Saturday and Sunday night. Are they turning tail and abandoning our fair city?
-There are more than demons to be concerned with residing in our woods. Is there a team already dispatched to the area that is also judging us?
-Mortal contacts are being stingy with their information. Have they been working with a ‘higher power’?

A slight correction to the last report: I reported that the entire primogen concil supported my new position as Harpy. It has come to my attention that while the Nosferatu Whip, Saboth, did support me, the Primogen proper, Otto, has not supported that decision, and has (as of this writing) continued to support Tamas. As our Prince is also a Nosferatu, this means that I do not have his support at this time. While I am still humbled at the support of the other Primogen, it is my personal goal to gain the support of Prince Calhoun and his clan.
