Thread: Defending the Cearn

I wanted to share the tale of Windwalker and my actions that day when we fought the creatrues of the Wyrm on the Bawn.

Windwalker and I start side to side and we waited for the first wave of them to get close enough to us before we started to move. It was then that Wondwalker told me to "Steady myself." I could already feel my blood running like the rapids of a raging river. I got a few breathes and ready myself to die if need be to protect the bawn and my new family. I had just gotten here not more then 4 days before this.

During that time is when my mentor and Elder, Windwalker schooled me in the ways of the Garou, my tribe and my auspice. He shown me how to shift forms and use my gifts. Keeping that in mind, I found a rock and sharped my claws and shifted into Crinous. He looked to me a noded, "NOW!" We both sprung into action, working together, attacking one high and one low, cutting the first wave of creatures in half. We began to move forward.

These creatures were hard to kill and they just kept coming and we just kept killing them. The blood from these things smelled bad, and was sticky. Waves and waves crashed on us like the breakers on a lake. I was begining to get tired but I looked to Windwalker and he was all over the place chopping here and stabbing there. His energy and rage fueled me and I followed his lead.

I looked to my left to see Windwalker drive his spear into the chest of a wyrm creature and without pause I jumped up and brings both arms and claws into the skull of the creature and rips its head completely off. then I moved to the left to attack the next. When out of the corner of my eyes, I saw another about to attack my flank.

As I turned, I tripped and was off balance and unable to defend myslelf, the Large form of Windwalker cut the creature in half with his axe. I noded to Windwalker smiles. Then from behind Windwalker a fomori wth eight lashing tendrils attacks him and guts the Old Wendigo. I charge and leap over Wandwalker and confronts the creature. As the two move around, I looked to see the fire in the eyes of my Elder, Mentor and Friend begin to fade away.

I stepped to attack and dodge the tendril and leashed out myself with my claws catching the mid section of the crfeature. Striking a deep and deadly blow, but it kept coming. It seemed like hours this death dance, but in the end the creature was foolish and my new training lead me to survive that conflict.

This is something that would have not been possible without Windwalker.

He was a great warrior, treacher and Elder.
