Thread: 6/21 - Arrival - Attn: Nos Primo

Christopher Slade watches the girl from off the side of where she is, wondering what will happen with her. He is young looking, with a black fedora strapped with a blood red hat band, as well as a black leather jacket over a bare chest, the only other points of interest are the overly long leather gloves covering his forearms, and a black eyemask over his left eye.

Droz walks up to the newcommer

His huge size apparent, he wears his usual black trench, wide brimmed black hat, and bandages completely wrapping his face and hands.

"What can i help you with?"

She hears Droz's approach before seeing him, and she balks a bit. She is not so much intimidated by his size as she is with the situation.

His looks being a bit of a give-away, she feels safe to assume this is the right place. Her voice is low, a little raspy. "New here. Must meet with the leader of the underbelly. Sewer rats, and whatnot." She gives him an inquiring look, as if seeing if he understands.

Droz smiles a bit at what she says

"Well im not the leader, but i am what you would call the 2nd in command. Not entirely sure where Calhoun is tonight, but until he shows up i can do well in his place."

"Now then, down to business, who are you, where did you come from, why are you here, why should you be allowed to stay here? Keep in mind that all of your answers will be "monitored" closely."

She looks about, wondering how many are hiding in the shadows.

"I am Ratu. Sent by an associate. From Detroit... she is well-known to Jack, yes? I am here for work. I will not cause trouble."

She adds with a nod, "I am useful."

Odd that a small brown bird would be out during the night, but there it is, fltting about, it probably would have hidden successfully but a slight mis read when it tries to land on a narrow ledge sends some feathers flying.

It regains it's composure and looks over the new person.

ok a couple more questions, what associate, who is jack, what kind of work, and how exactly are you useful.

Rat2 startles at the sound of the bird, and she looks about quickly, expecting trouble. But seeing Droz is not alarmed, she goes on.

"Jack - a new guy here. Maybe you have not met him. A brawler kind. His family is friends of Tibor - who is part of our family in Detroit.." she peers at the tall man curiously, to see if he understands any of this, as she is not the greatest at speeches. "..These are all things up north. I can prove myself here."

She looks around suspiciously, and then continues.

"The work is to aid the people of the City. I can scout. And many things, I know how to do. You know computers? That is something I know."
