Thread: Exploring the Underground (Chris/Nos)

Chris is waiting in his room, the door open, when Payton enters she will see him sitting on a large stack of metal, as well as various pieces of equipment, he grins back at her when she smiles, "I guess so."

She looks around the room.

"What's with all the metal?"

"I use it to make these...", he jerks his arm and a plain, nondiscript handgun appears in his hand. "I could make you some if you want."

She shakes her head.

"Oh. No."

She smiles and blushes slightly.

"I don't think that would be good. I wouldn't even know how to use one."

"a simple problem..." he says, but slides the gun back down his sleeve and messes with it a bit, "shall we go."

She nods quickly a few times then turns and starts to walk down one of the tunnels.

"Do you have any idea where we are going?"

Chris shrugs, "Well, let's go this way" He suggests, after leading her out of the room and locking the door. They wander down the laberynth of corridors, they eventually find there way to a large double door, slightly ajar.

Chris looks at Payton, then shrugs and enters the room. What they is a large, darkend puddle of water in the middle of a room about the size of half a basketball court. This doesn't seem strange at first, but as the heavy door slams shut behind them, mobs of rats invade the room and surround the pool.

"Ah, I see, this is one of those spawning pools they were talking about." he turns to look at the door, "they must see this as a sort of dinner bell", He glances at Payton, then examines the rats.

She stays close to Chris, her eyes on him the whole time as he leads the way.

Right, left, left, right, left....oh damn

She looks at the double doors, then down at the rats. She smiles and starts to talk to them.

"They want food...they always want food."

Chris nods, then raises an eyebrow, he circles the pool, and once he's on the far side he chuckles a bit, eyebrow still raised. "Well, isn't this interesting, how'd you guys get down here", He waves Payton over to look at the three field mice fighting to get a drink. They are about half the size of the rats with brown fur and rather long tails, they appear considerably scarred up.
