I ****love**** that colleges are talking about pop culture (especially the corner of it that I spend so much time in. There is a lot more depth to the genre we love than just "brain candy."
I don't think I'd agree with her that Bella is a "strong" literary character (personally) but, I'm glad she's making a case for it. That she's comparing Twilight to the classics is kinda neat, wish I could have been there to debate some of her points of view with her.
